Come and experience the story of Gaelic Games through the ages from pre-historical times and particularly since the foundation of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in the town in 1884. To see our impressive collection of memorabilia includes hurleys and jerseys worn with pride and distinction by famous players, as well as medals won by star hurlers and footballers, and trophies presented for championships and competitions at home and abroad.
The exhibits track the history of hurling, football, handball and camogie and allow the visitor to experience vicariously the sporting lives and times of their heroes.
